Personally I really love the look of the FI-R on the car. Is your consideration for the BBS Mag's based on the amount of weight you will save or do you actually prefer the styling of the Mag's over these?

Just got back from vacation and wanted load a few pictures driving the new gt3rs down HWY 1 from San Francisco to Los Angeles. I currently put about 1300+ miles on the vehicle, with an oil change done at 1006miles and I have had a smile on my face through the whole experience.

Similar break in we were able to complete earlier... left in the morning at 49 miles and pulled back in the garage at 485 miles! Just absolutely in love with the vehicle! Even though the manual now allows for 7000 RPM for first 1,000 rpm, I decided to do it a bit differently. Did first 100 miles never above 4K, first 200 miles never above 5K, first 300 miles never above 6K first 400 miles never above 7K, at 401 miles, I let her rip to 8K, The sound this engine makes from 7 to 8K is so beautiful! Just mesmerizing! And then just before getting home at about 485 miles. let her rip a quick 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 full throttle shifts (probably 8,800). Then put her tucked her away nicely back in the garage. Car didn't burn one ounce of oil on the 450 mile road trip! I'll change the oil Saturday, and install Soul Valved Side Muffler Delete!

Breakfast in Payson

Fuel in Prescott

Skull Valley

Tires Warm?

Break in WickenBerg

Quick Windshield Repair by Penske Rapid Repair

Quick Hand Wash from 450 mile road trip before bringing her home.

Tucked away for the night.

Best Regards,
Dave

Speaking of manual, how does it compare with your previous .2 GT3 manual?

Congrats on the lizard

Thanks, definitely different than the manual! The front grip levels are so much higher, it's really amazing in how it communicated to the driver, so much more raw road feel and and engine noise than the GT3.

I absolutely love the PDK crisp shifts and pop sounds it makes and even part throttle manual shifting!

Definitely loving the 3RS!

Best Regards,
Dave

Once you are done breaking it in, do let us know if you feel any power differences between the two cars

Enjoy it in good health
