There is a BIG part of me that wants to keep both but it also feels a little ridiculous to have two GT3s sitting in the garage. It would be an easier decision if one was an RS. I love love love my 997.2 so it would really hurt to sell it but I'm not sure I would ever choose to drive the 997 over the 991 once there both in the garage. Dealership offered me 95k (has 15k miles) so I would save a little on taxes if I turn it in but I'm afraid I'll regret it. Other option I'm toying with is trading the 997 for an R8 or possible a 570s. Both would obviously depreciate faster than the 997 (I believe) but would at least offer two completely experiences from the GT3. Always wanted a V10 R8 and the 570 is just badass. Certainly 1st world problems, but need to make a decision soon if I'm going to turn it in. (if it matters, these aren't my DD and I have an oversize 3 car garage that can comfortably hold 4 cars so space is not an issue)

I've never owned an R8 but have a '17 570 which I bought new (stickered @ $230K) but it's probably a $170K car now given the 5K miles I've driven it.
Yes, they depreciate fast but the contrast you seek will certainly be there.
With regards to your 997.2, is it a 2011? If so, the dealer should be at $115K given the recent wholesale auction below.

Definitely don’t need both. Maybe pick up an older 911, say from 1987 to 1989.

997 and 991 different enough IMHO. I would agree with keep both for a bit and the trade for 570 or R8
On the other hand variety is the spice of life. Lol
Good luck. Nice problem
