Default Extended leather dash

Want to spec this option, and debating whether to keep same deviated stitch as in rest of interior (GT silver stitch), or go with black stitch for the top of the dash, to blend in better in this area? Anyone have pics of black stitch on top and far sides of dash, with lighter color elsewhere in car?

Thinking that black stitch will reduce any reflection/glare on windshield (though sounds like most people don't find this a problem). Also wonder if black stitch might actually look better in this particular area, even with GT Silver in other areas.

Lol I debated this subject for an embarrassing amount of time. In the end went GT Silver like the rest of the cabin. Value consistency throughout and really like dashboard end caps in deviated stitching. And I was unable to find anyone to tell me that the glare caused by the deviated stitching was a distraction. I have a picture somewhere, let me see if I can dig it up.

I've got it as well. No pic at hand unfortunately. Looks very nice when you open the door and see the finished dash end in particular.

I have not noticed any glare whatsoever with this option and std silver stitch. Think the option is a must have for me.

Not that you should care about resale right now but if I was hunting for a used one with extended leather, I might pass is the stitching was a different color.

Default Resale not a concern

Just trying to spec the nicest car. Resale no concern. You can spec different stitch for the various areas, doors, dash, etc—that is part of the dealer configurator.

The extended leather dash will be a plus with any stitch. I wonder if black stitch on the upper dash might be the most appealing, and most “custom,” even with lighter stitch elsewhere. Will give a more luxurious feel, no matter the stitch color. And maybe black looks more purposeful in this location.

Personally I'd skip the extended leather dash (it's a LOT of interior stitching at that point...), and if you mix the stitch to make it less visible it may look a bit mis-matched to those that notice those details. Though I spec'd black deviated stitch to hide the contrast stitching in my interior to hide all of the contrasting stitching, so I'm biased in a certain direction...

The spec of my car, dash stitching black, I like both to be honest. Not sure if I would go contrast or black, do like the leather though . Not the best picture...

I use Ammo NYC leather cleaner and their conditioner. Works great. Goes on shiny. Then you give it a once over with towel and it becomes matte and keeps the leather looking new. Smells good too, like a leather shop. Leaves zero film. No residue or anything. Very happy with the stuff.
