Default Green seat inserts with green leather interior GT3RS

When I ordered my UV GT3RS there was a choice to get the seat inserts in black.
So by spec-ing black seats and black seat belts, I ended up with Orange stitching and door pulls only.

The green interior allows for black seat belts but no black seat inserts?
Making seat inserts black or do black interior with other then white (Green) stitch means CXX?

Lots of aftermarket choices for seat inserts, lot cheaper than CXX

I don't see a black insert available on the configurator for LWBs (sofas get black centers). Black belts is smart (if I had light belts they would be dirty).

Maybe you don't care, but I did notice on ACSATCO's GT3RS that the black inserts are different from the .1 as they have spots like the lizard ones.

Supposedly the pads aren’t removable any more. Seems like if you want the green stitching you have to have the green seats this time.

pads are still removable on 2018 GT3's but it takes a little more work than the 997 velcro days!

When I ordered the green interior for my .2 RS, I was a little worried that the green seat cushions might be a bit much. So I asked my dealer if I could get the dark grey inserts instead. He said that I could not configure the car that way but as soon as he had a chassis number, he could order the dark grey inserts. I could then replace the green cushions with the dark grey and store the green ones until re-sale. Thats my plan anyway.

Aren’t the inserts crazy money from parts department? Like $5k for the pair?

Hi Chris,
when you say green interior, are you referring to 991.2 GT3RS green interior?
That is what I would like to order and Lizard Green exterior for the Gt2RS.

And, at least for me, the most comfortable seat that Porsche offer. I am still annoyed that I could not get them in my Touring and had to buy the fixed buckets instead. The utility factor they bring to the car over the fixed buckets is miles ahead.

Yes.
Folding seats were awesome even with a roll bar you can get stuff back there.
But even worse not to have them in the Touring! That makes no sense!
