I would certainly get WP. I need all the advantages I can get on track to make up for my lack of skill.

I got it. Full disclosure I thought it looked really cool and separated the car from the .1 which i liked.
I've got way more than a bit of weight to worry about as far as my laptime is concerned.

I ordered WP for looks. It helps we get the titanium cage which is extra bling (albeit at expense of not allowing front cage).
I didnt think I would see my money back when it comes to resale when I ordered it. Even with the stop sale I’m not convinced it’ll be worth more to the average punter.
Out of 6 cars at my dealer-mine is the only WP order if that is any indication of popularity.

For reasons probably unplanned, the WP vs. non-WP distribution of the .2 3RS may end up looking like the 918. The majority of 918 buyers in-period didn't bother to shell out what amounted to the price of an additional GT3 (more if one included the special paint or carbon finish) and those who did so late in the order cycle got denied by PAG...
History has a funny way of repeating itself. That said, I'm not remotely saying that a mass-produced RS will ever attain comparable status as the 918

I had the option to bump mine back or take a super early build and skip. I skipped. I'll have it before rennsport and do not regret it at all.
Will probably have 2000 miles on ODO by the time my WP would have arrived. Life is short, go kill some tires.
