Default Braking the GT2RS

Best way to wipe off all the extra speed you carry in the GT2RS

Step 1: Visit Mov’it Germany for calipers

Step 2: Visit Autoquest for the Surface Transforms rotors

Step 3: Remove these

Step 4: Install these

Step 5: Then install these

Step 6: Road test

Step 7: Go have some fun on the track and outbrake the competition....

Beautiful car and color. Would you mind sharing the cost of the calipers and rotors?

Contact the guys at Autoquest for the ST Rotors, here’s a link to their website with the pricing: Autoquest website

The Mov’it guys can be contacted at this link and will be able to help you with pricing for the calipers: Mov’it website

Note it’s the same replacement kit from Mov’it for the OEM PCCB sizing installed on the 991 GT3RS and GT2RS

What are the advantages of the movit calipers? Will they improve braking distances or is it a matter of reliability and temperature management?

Here’s a quick link to another post that outlines the virtues of the Mov’it setup and Surface Transforms rotors. Mov’it & ST Rotor info

Note the post is a few years old and the US distributor for the rotors is now Autoquest. The information is still relevant.

Now that's a brake set up! Refurbishable ST CCM rotors mated to solid calipers...sweet!

The AP Calipers are not compatible with the ST rotors - wrong sizes. The iron rotors that the AP kit uses are quite light though (whole system almost as light as PCCB without the replacement cost). Not sure the weight of Movit & ST setup....

Yes, with the Movit calipers you can swap pads without having to dismount the calipers - just slide in the top...
