PTS Greens: British Racing Green vs Oak Green Metallic & Brewster Green

Oak almost has an "Ice Green" lightness to it in some of the stills above, but the videos really capture just how light/dark it really is. I'd say it's close to Agate, but green. Living with it now for a while, it's lighter than I expected and also has a gold undertone that is really well shown in these videos.

The modern version of Oak Green is a funny thing. My car often looks like the GT3 in your photo, but also often looks like the little model in the middle as seen in the pics and videos above. Sometimes, I think it's a dark green. Other times, it surprises me how light it is. The only time it looks like what I think Oak should look like (from memory of 930s and 964s) is in my garage under florescent lights...or out in the world at night, which isn't a good measure of course!

I guess this is the place to pic-***** my Oak Green 6mt. So crazy to see the changes in this color!

Hey thanks... I did the same as OP. Went down to PEC in Atlanta to see the greens in the sun.
But then when I saw this Oak 911 at the Factory Museum, I knew it was the one for me. Supposedly a "Porsche family color" and this one owned by Ferry himself. Another great example here.
