Anyone else just go V220?
Got the word from my SA that my car (GT3) jumped to V220 last week and it looks like my build is a few weeks ahead of schedule. Knowing that production typically happens in batches and there will be quite a bit fall/winter deliveries so I'm curious if anyone else recently hit V220 and if we'll have a few "sister" cars going down the line. Will be curious to see how quickly it hits 250 and if it stays ahead of schedule.

I went v250 and v300 a few weeks ahead of schedule, but you should remember that the entire factory shuts down at some point in August for vacation, i believe for several weeks in August (according to my SA). So getting to v220 is great, and exciting (having just gone through it), but you may still be looking at a post-German summer holiday build process.

So my car still shows v300, but it also shows "leave emden" and then ACTUAL DATE as August 1. I think there's a chance i may be on the Euphrates Highway, now on its way to Bremen before Davisville on August 14. It is strange that the dealer's system still shows v300 but an actual departure date, maybe there is a lag between when the code updates? I'm gonna pm sgroer unless anyone else has any good info. Good news is either way, I'm close.

What a difference a day makes. This morning my car updated from v300 to V332, confirmed on the Euphrates Highway, set to arrive in Davisville on the 14th (but it is already 2 days ahead of schedule on its way to Halifax right now). Their system shows an 8/31 Davisville date and a 9/14 delivery, but with an actual Davisville date (according to Marine Tracker and the VW export schedule) of 8/14, I'm thinking I have this car by the end of the month. It has a VIN number already, and an engine number and gearbox number (which, if nothing else, strikes me as very cool). Interestingly, it only took 2 days from completed production to arrival at Emden (now that i can see actual dates), so i think they are fairly efficient (as Germans can be) in getting cars from the factory parking lot to the boats. And then 5 days to get on a boat and out to sea. Tick tock....
