I don't judge cars i haven't driven. But I told dealer no interest in 2rs. Stupid decision financially, but I'm sure I'd have been at the end of the line for allocations and i doubt they will be trading remotely close to the adm they have now. I had the 997 2rs. Crazy fast car but did nothing for me. Kept the 997 4.0. 3rs on the way. I'll ride the NA GT wave as long as they offer it. And, as it is, the new stuff is so fast and I'm only getting older. My rule now is only keep cars that are also fun to drive slow. Maybe if I ever get some seat time in the current 2rs, it might change my mind?

The market price on these things is truly insane. I've never been a big flipper but I'd be asking my dealer how soon I could sell it back, at these levels. I'd spank it at a track day, cross my fingers I don't put it into a wall and toss the keys. It's an amazing machine; it's just not my cup of tea.

PMd you the one for $470k (now sold apparently) but I agree that there seems to be some 2RS cars surfacing on classifieds/brokers/eBay/AutoTrader/BAT, I think the people who predicted production would at least try to catch up to supply were correct. PAG definitely pumping out the GT cars with rumors even more 2RS/GT3 allocations for last months of 2018 were released. Hoping for MSRP on a 2RS in a couple years time lol

Funny how all this is. I had an 997.2RS. Not my favorite 911. My ‘18 GT3MT is much more fun IMO. My ‘16RS was my favorite 911 ever. Pretraded for a ‘19RS. A 2RS doesn’t hit me even at MSRP. I have less in my Fiat 488.

I already saw 360k in europe (gt cars follow similar numbers to US regardless of exchange rate). By christmas 300k.
