Sales tax savings on trade in toward new RS assuming your rate is probably at least 7% would be about $12K, so you’d had to sell private for at least $7K over msrp for it to be same deal as doing trade with dealer. Plus, I’m just guessing here, but your dealer probably won’t do the same price on the new RS, or sell it to you at all, unless you trade the .2 GT3 to them, since of course they’ll probably turn around and sell it for at least $20K over MSRP and make about $20K+ profit from your trade.
My my hunch is you probably won’t get more than $10-$15K over yourself on a private sale, which may work about same to slightly better than the trade, but of course you have the risk of selling it and the hassle.
In terms of .2 GT3 manual v .2 GT3 RS PDK, depends on what you want. You said you want a more dedicated track car not a weekend fun car. RS PDK certainly fits that description as long as you’re willing to drive such an expensive car on track.
Me, I’d prefer to have the manual GT3, but then again, I track one day a year maybe 3 times out for 20 mins each time at Smokies GT. Otherwise, it’s a fun road car. But that’s just me.

Private sale on a manual GT3 seems to be about MSRP + $10-15k. Probably not much more than their offer plus tax savings.
Asking prices on the .1 RS have been getting close to MSRP, not sure what they are actually selling for.
Even with sales tax credit, not a great deal. Maybe on another RS, but unless that one has insane options or is PTS, the current deal isn't great.
Plus, the .2 GT3 and .1RS are very similar in performance.

A friend caved in and just traded back-in his mint .2 manual GT3 w/ 500 miles at 3k below msrp... he doesn't have time for private sale tirekickers or fiascos. Well at least he's in a state that can offset tax % so he'll just pay the tax difference for the new car plus obviously the price of the new car. Dealer will list his GT3 well over msrp.... but we know that already.

Also.. If you're talking about the .1RS, that motor is not the same as the one in your .2 GT3. My bet is that you would be disappointed at the downgrade

I have forgotten how amazing a manual GT3 is. This generation GT3 is the best. I don’t have any numbers yet, but I can tell you the new GT3 feels just as fast or faster than my previous .1 RS. If you want to track and don’t want a dedicated non-street race car, I would suspect you’d want your current GT3 based on its “Motorsport derived” engine which is supposed to be more robust. The .1RS does not have that.

The new Motorsport 4.0 is the real winner & most-significant factor for the .2 series GT3/GT3RS-cars.

Certainly, a $7K Xpel or Suntek plays a factor but probably not anything else.
Suspect your MSRP was $160 so buyers are probably at $170 over since it's a nice spec.
Is it worth the hassle of flaky buyers or else just bit the bullet and trade it in quickly for $155.

The inventory is piling up on the cars all were dying to own, and the delalers are licking their chops to low ball. Cash buyers on used cars are starting to dry up also .......will be interesting to see if the inventory continues to grow. The winter will be interesting when sales decline on speciality car. Hate to see all these cars go to waste when guys that wanted cars could own them and drive them.

There are people who genuinely wanted the .2 GT3 - but I say more power to the dealers to exploit the people who think they are going to get a leg up on the dealers and make some money with buying multiple cars and asking insane prices for allocations/cars. The best part comes when they complain about trade values and ADM's, along with trying to get their tax/title fees back
