I know the material is OEM for the LWBs but worth the inquiry on the Sofas

Last report is no CXX on 4 ways, so you would have to do 18 ways and because they are 18 ways, you are in for the full $8900 (plus the cost of 18 way, plus the cost of leather backs). The inserts were only $3600 for the LWB.

thanks! that's what i wanted to know. $8900 + $2640 + $1770 = $13,310. now that is a heck of a porsche tax! definitely going to pass on that!

and now I think the lwb factory cxx inserts are also $8900 up from original $3600...so total cost for LWB is $14,100. I had no viable aftermarket choice since I needed to go with sofas. It hurt but I don’t regret it.

At some point we all need to just laugh at what we spend on these P-Car options...I’m guilty myself!!
What’s the logic and who’s making these decisions at Porsche? SMH!!!
I genuinely hope you folks pursuing the CXX option can find a suitable alternative other than the steep $8.9K or more price. No judgement though. :-)

The $8900 gives you a full custom seat option. Not just houndstooth. At least by the way it was broken down to me. Either way enjoy

Correct. Seems a bit excessive for just inserts (I am not sure if the $3600 just inserts option is available anymore), but some have done piping, headrest logo change (Lapis has a nice example with Olympic blue piping and touring on the headrest), and my favorites the custom leather choices (maritime blue, red, Cohiba club leather from the panny, cognac, English green leather I have seen on CXX LWB this go around.)

its not available as a stand alone. I just went through this on a .2 3rs. They would only do $8875 for full seat customization. Up to me how many things i wanted to have customized

I'm debating on doing this for a Targa GTS. The chalk one in the classifieds with the houndstooth 18 ways and chalk piping has peaked my interested. How do you find out the full range of what's available? or is it inquire about what you want and they will let you know if they can do it?

Thanks

You can go visit exclusive and see the fabric and leather samples. I suppose you can also pick one and see if they approve. I was just speaking to an incredibly well versed Porsche owner who gave me the name of porsche’s Leather supplier which I can follow up and get you if you want to go really outside the box — texture, color etc. given the cost, delay, and so far lack of popularity (compared to PTS) I think there is some more flexibility in CXX seats.

Full on special leather (something really crazy nice if you are paying that much), piping, etc. I might get something like the grey leather in the 2002 rhino edition Range Rover as those seats in grey with the black interior would be killer.

This is actually a photo of our early prototypes - for the foldable bucket seats (3 sections on bottom cushion vs. 2 sections on LWB seats)...

We offer the Seat Insert Set in original Houndstooth ‚R‘ material (Black/DarkSilver), but also have Graphite-Blue/Chalk and Black-Red available. All three colors in the original ‚R‘ fabric and quality.

Here‘s the link to our shop:
https://www.rennwerkstatt.us/product...ll-bucket-seat

Please let me know, if you have any questions...

Btw, we are also offering full seat customization (which was recently denied for 911 Speedster clients) - just let us know what you have in mind.
