anyone have any update on costs/process of going with factory houndstooth/pepita inserts? i am planning on doing 4 way seats on my GT3T with the leather backs. i am interested in doing the houndstooth inserts as well, but not sure how much additional it costs or if it allows me to change the stitching color as well. any advice appreciated. thanks!

thanks! that's what i wanted to know. $8900 + $2640 + $1770 = $13,310. now that is a heck of a porsche tax! definitely going to pass on that!

At some point we all need to just laugh at what we spend on these P-Car options...I’m guilty myself!!
What’s the logic and who’s making these decisions at Porsche? SMH!!!
I genuinely hope you folks pursuing the CXX option can find a suitable alternative other than the steep $8.9K or more price. No judgement though. :-)

Correct. Seems a bit excessive for just inserts (I am not sure if the $3600 just inserts option is available anymore), but some have done piping, headrest logo change (Lapis has a nice example with Olympic blue piping and touring on the headrest), and my favorites the custom leather choices (maritime blue, red, Cohiba club leather from the panny, cognac, English green leather I have seen on CXX LWB this go around.)

its not available as a stand alone. I just went through this on a .2 3rs. They would only do $8875 for full seat customization. Up to me how many things i wanted to have customized

I'm debating on doing this for a Targa GTS. The chalk one in the classifieds with the houndstooth 18 ways and chalk piping has peaked my interested. How do you find out the full range of what's available? or is it inquire about what you want and they will let you know if they can do it?
Thanks

Full on special leather (something really crazy nice if you are paying that much), piping, etc. I might get something like the grey leather in the 2002 rhino edition Range Rover as those seats in grey with the black interior would be killer.

I have an extra set of houndstooth pepita, I’ll also throw in a set of Key chains if you want email me. Bought from Dave the trimmer in UK. Was going to give a friend of mine but he ended up backing out. Message me if your interested

Former Vendor
This is actually a photo of our early prototypes - for the foldable bucket seats (3 sections on bottom cushion vs. 2 sections on LWB seats)...
We offer the Seat Insert Set in original Houndstooth ‚R‘ material (Black/DarkSilver), but also have Graphite-Blue/Chalk and Black-Red available. All three colors in the original ‚R‘ fabric and quality.
Here‘s the link to our shop:

Please let me know, if you have any questions...
Btw, we are also offering full seat customization (which was recently denied for 911 Speedster clients) - just let us know what you have in mind.
