My LWBs are stitched in grey or silver.

Thanks MYoung, grey/silver wouldn't work for me unfortunately. GL

I have a set of 18 ways with red stitching and would be interested in swapping.

There has been a previous post from GMG saying the swap is possible. May want to give them a call to ask.

Seats are in Irvine, CA

Thanks for the offer and I like that you are just down the road a piece, but for now I would rather see if I can purchase or swap for 18-ways with the silver stitching to retain that similarity to the silver and aluminum interior of my car.

Regards,
Mike

That's exactly what I want to do. If you do it please advise of any issues and maybe post pics with the mismatched seats. I'm in no real hurry but I occasionally browse the parts marketplace for 4-ways.

Revisiting this. Does anyone know if the 991.1 seats will work in 991.2?

Reviving an old thread. Did you swap the headrest from “GT4” logo to GT3? Where did you get them from?

Turns out it was a blessing because I made full use of the rear space for my euro delivery with luggage, but now that the car is in California I never use it. Bought OEM LWBS from a fellow local Rennlister who took them off his GT4. Dealer install was plug and play to take out my 4 way sofas and install LWBS.

The cost is not because of the labor or parts specifically, but the seats themselves most likely. I know that the bucket seats, if you wanted to order them from Porsche as a part (not with the car), will cost about $25k. Porsche will charge you an arm and a leg for OEM replacement seats. Your best bet would be to put up a WTB ad in the classifieds and hope a RLer has a set for sale. I just sold my 4 way sport seats today actually to a another Rennlister!
