Roof Rack for GT3??
Any solutions to transport a kiteboard on a GT3 roof? I have a family car as well but sometimes it’s not available especially if it’s windy (if you know what I mean ;-) ) I saw some suction holders for 911s but I am not so sure how they hold if you attach a board to it especially at unfavorable angle. Would it hold the board driving 200-250km/h? |

I understand GT cars do not have the mounts for the factory rack, but I wonder if they could be retrofitted. I would be interested in them as I like the look of roof racks. |
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...5b4ddafc0.jpeg You are right. Maybe it’s not a great idea to drive that fast with a kiteboard on the roof. However the question is still valid. Anyone tried suction holders for roof rack? The gear fits well in the trunk :-) |

Will my bikes fly off my car if I go too fast? Even though SeaSucker racks are incredibly powerful and fork-mount racks are extremely secure, we don't want to find out. We’ve speed tested our racks on a NASCAR track up to about 140 mph, but that’s obviously extreme. Our recommendation is that you observe all posted speed limits. I am bumping this thread, I regularly use my seasucker rack on my C2 with no issue. I wonder how the suction cups are working out for a car that has clear bra on the roof ? Any potential issue to damage the clear bra ?

Seasucker does not recommend putting the suction cups over PPF...the suction will be strong enough to lift film and leave a circular mark...self healing ppf will smooth itself in the sun .
I put the front suction cups on the rear glass and rest the rear ones on the spoiler. |

Has anyone seen if you can retrofit the latches for the factory rack?

How about rigging the sea sucker monkey bars and somehow carrying a set of track tires? Looks like the weight limit of the monkey bars is 150 lbs. Maybe mount two sets of bars to the roof?
