ive had fresh paint be stressed by turn signal jam bracket pressure producing a clear coat line and i was able to sand it out

Glad to see this issue being noted.

we've seen this, and repaired it, on hundreds of Porsches prior to clear bra installation.

not the end of the world and a trained detailer should be able to fix the flaw with no issue

A bit OT, but every one of those cars has the keys inside. The ECU will limit speed to about 3-4 mph until the dealer gets the car.

Unfortunately you don't have an infinite amount of clearcoat. Down the road if an issue develops in the same area you are somewhat limited. Gets down to the people making the correction. There are people on this list I'd rather make the correction than the factory.
