The Sport Turismo comes with a middle seat in the back. More of a 4+1. But we will still use my wife's car for long road trips. With 3 kids under 10 they will easily be able to fit in the back for day trips and going out for dinner.

OP, congrats on the ST!

I currently own both a 991.2 GT3 and a new Panamera 4e Hybrid ST. I love both and in some ways i prefer the Panamera..Rather bizarrely the Panamera is at its most impressive when going flat out on a windy undulating road..I make sure the suspension is in SPORT PLUS and the 2T car handles like a much lighter sports car..The new three stage Air suspension is a thing of wonderment in its uncanny ability to keep the car in check on a deeply undulating road..
Cross country my GT3 wouldn't be much faster as the huge range of 516 lb/ft of torque and fast acting 8 speed PDK always keeps the Panamera on full boil..Its a truly great car and drives more like a true Porsche than people give it credit..
Mines a totally blacked out example on 21'' Black exclusive rims and many people have commented its the best looking car in my garage, even sat side by side with my RY GT3 and CW 981 Spyder..

Interesting. I own a 16 E63 wagon and drive the new Panny (sedan) and found the Merc to have more personality. The Porsche is a very competent car but seemed meh? Or said another way, handling was tighter but less interesting engine personality. Overall if I was liking to change at my price point E63 lines up against a 4S and it's no contest. Taking on the other hand... the ST is one of the sexiest cars made in a long time. Just stunning. Here is a side by side with mind. All back w CCB for both.

I'm looking at used market however, something in the $80k range.. I can't stomach new car depreciation.
