Since Akrapovic's optional Link Pipes were used in this install the ECU will have to be remapped or else the check engine light will be present.

How noticeable/abrupt is the change in sound when the valves open at 4K rpm? How does the car sound below 4K rpm compared to stock?

Choosing between this and the full race version. Thanks!

I would not buy the full race version. The valves do change a lot, certainly when cruising
If money is no issue, go for evolution system with dampers

How much louder at low rpm is the Evolution system compared to stock?

Also, is there a sudden on/off quality to the sound when the valves open at 4K rpm (since even when switched to open/loud, they stay shut below that engine speed)?
