GT3 - White or Chalk?
Test drove MT 18 GT3, ridiculously awesome, tried the power shifting, mind blowing. Anyway, about to buy one of two, but cant decide, so wanted to see general consensus from you guys. Both cars have same sale price, similar mileage along with these core items I wanted: MT, 18 way seats, extended fuel tank, Bose, PDLS, FAL, steel brakes, heated seats, black rims, dimming mirrors, chrono, floor mats.
Car A - Chalk - msrp 166k
has no wrap, so adding xpel will add 4K for whole body.
Car B - White Metallic - msrp 171k
Has front xpel w/ceramic coating, leather interior black/grey, light design, back of seats leather and bunch of other items that doesn't really matter to me.
I am leaning towards the chalk as its a cooler color and I think it will have better resale vs the white. Or should I wait for car with GBM to become available, that was my dream color?

have to disagree with you there. Cross posting another member's chalk:

YMMV. But seeing this indoors and then at PEC LA (on a Touring with dealer plates), it had a pretty subtle effect. Chalk was impressive in a way that the white metallic never did for me. I can see where the off-white might make one concerned about it seeming "dirty", but it doesn't really have that effect in person. For me, at least.
Which place does a full xpel for 4k?

I beg to differ, if I were in your shoes, I would wait until GBM becomes available. If GBM is your dream color, do not settle anything else. I would disagree in terms of chalk having "better" resale value compared to white cars. Just look
at used car sales/sites, there are almost as many chalk cars on sale vs. white cars. Also per CamsPorsche data, chalk was the number 1 color ordered, therefore not surprising to
more chalk cars available in the near future.

Starting in September, a lot more cars are coming to the US (based on the EU sales issue as well as the when is your allocation thread). The market should expand then especially as it marks the beginning of the end of driving season in places with weather.

So, you expect more cars for sale and thus prices to come down a bit? Currently, the two cars are going for about $184k, so not sure if I can find any cars next few months for a lower price range?

Only took 4hrs for this to turn into a value thread.
How about we move all value threads to Off Topic? Now that would be a Mod intervention I could get behind.
OP: Chalk is unique but White is fastest.
