GT3 - White or Chalk?
#31
Chalk gives the GT3 an industrial vibe that works particularly well on that model, IMO. It's the second hardest color, next to lava orange, to photograph A Chalk GT3 with a set of dark red (custom) wheels would look super slick.

I would select white, which is what I did. The reason is that white is timeless. 30 years ago or 30 years in the future, white will always be a safe color to have. Chalk and all these new "matte" style colors might be a passing fad, who knows. Maybe, maybe not.
With the technology/options nowadays, you can wrap your car a different color quite easily and prices will go down over time. What used to be $8K is now around $4K.
I guess the same can be said about a chalk colored car (you can wrap it), but I'd rather have the "safe" color as the original.
Just IMO, plus all my cars have been white.

wow, I really appreciate all the feedback, so thanks!! I am now leaning towards the CWM because I do like the white/black contrast with minor red highlights. And its a better deal, getting 12K over for car with 1K miles and a MANUAL, tires with zero mileage on them and has xpel front and ceramic coating is a pretty damn good deal. I doubt I could find anything like it in the near future. And it does have the leather interior, so that is nice I have to say. Without the Chalk $4200 price, the MSRP diff would actually be 162 vs 171, so 9K. I do like Chalk, but is it worth that much more?

I disagree with this. White is the most common therefore appealing to a wider audience and better resale.
Having said that I would buy the Chalk. It is my second favorite color to Fashion Gray. This also coming from a person who owns white.

Chalk is a popular color at the moment.......chalk is interesting at first look.....and a nice color.....I changed to CWM because it pops....cool white that is very bright but no metallic overkill........white is classic and timeless plus you can add colored decals and switch them whenever if white is too basic....AND resale is easier....sorry to add that...

There isn't one color regularly available on the GT3 that is any better than any other. It's all personal preference. There are no faddy colors, and there will not be one color later that all of a sudden becomes hated in the future. Don't worry about resale and just get the color that speaks to you.
Chalk is it for me.

I got chalk and I like it. Was gonna go Miami Blue (and sometimes wish I did), but I'm happy with Chalk. Glad I didn't get white.

who cares??? really, it's more abut the car, not the color (IMO)
example: I hate silver cars and blue cars - 1st GT3, arctic Silver; 2nd GT3 cobalt blue
was far more about the car that presented itself each time. if you're fortunate to have a choice, both white and chalk are gorgeous
enjoy!
