Ok. So I went bonkers last week. Went from specing Silver, to Miami, to Lava to black back to silver and finally Guards Red. My sales person was hysterical laughing at me and just kept clicking changes like every day. Now V210.
I figured "be bold young man" even though I wimped out on the Miami blue. .
Final spec:
Guards Red.
Arum wheels
PCCBs
Red belts
White gauges.
Sport chrono in black
leather dash
Center console with Porsche Crest
black headlights
aluminum pedals
Carbon door sills
Light package
Axle lift
Fire Extinguisher
Smoking package
Storage net
Didn't pick Weissach since I couldn't justify the extra $18K without getting the titanium roll bar. Wouldn't even put it in a box and ship the damn thing. Christ.
Will do full PPF and likely hood and roof in semi gloss black to set it off.
Comments.
Be nice!

Guards Red is gorgeous. People seem to avoid it because it's the "obvious" choice for a 911, but ironically, that seems to make it less common.
With the gold wheels and black trim, it will be perfect.

I'm in the running to get a WP RS in he second batch(UK) next year and i was dead set on either Black or Guards..This changed somewhat after seeing pics of Chris's LG RS..Trouble is i'm set on gold wheels(fancy a change from black rims) which i'm not keen on LG..
When i'm undecided on a new car's colour i usually plump for one of the free ones..Black,White and Guards look equally good with the Aurum wheels although when you consider that both these first two colours were expensive PTS on the gen 1, then either will be great on the new RS..Tonight on balance i'd go with Guards and gold...Bold yet classic and relatively rare to boot and will never ever date..

Thanks guys. I hope I like it.
My wife really lobbied for Miami (she thought it was gorgeous) but I just couldn't live with the color. Even drove to another dealer 50 minutes away to look at the color on a couple cars. My dealer didn't have a car in Miami in stock. Too pastel for me and too turquoise in certain lighting. It's beautiful but just wasn't making me "happy" Was "fighting" to really like it.
All subjective.

Porsche Configurator-itis. A common affliction on this forum. I have had a wicked case since I scored a GT3 allocation. I've had since February to configure and re-configure - and I still have six more weeks to go before my build locks! The Porsche configurator itch that keeps on itching... Enjoy your amazing car!
