Just a quick update, 2 customers with 991.2 GT3's swapped the stock center muffler for a Dundon Lifetime Orange (Quiet) Muffler with Dundon Turn Away tips and passed 92dB limits all weekend without modifying their driving style, or adding any GPS flap controls.

Cars were both stock including side mufflers, we will be working with a few shops in the area to test side deletes and our quiet muffler on the 991.2. We know on the 997 GT3's side deletes and Quiet Muffler passes from work we did last summer.

991.2 GT3 1:
All day Saturday - no issues
All day Sunday - no issues

Clear sunny skies - 92 DB limit

3rd gear full throttle

We're pushing mfg of the mufflers to get them back in stock, to date we've sold 50 loud and quiet muffler and are in the processes of mfg 100 more...

yep - I'm one of the '18 GT3 owners - passed sound all weekend @ Laguna - woot - no black flags for sound!!!

Thanks for the report. Did anyone actually do a quantitative sound check to get the true dB numbers as measured by their sound meter? You just have to ask!

I didn't get numbers - I'll will on Monday July 16th - sound limit is higher so I won't mind calling attention to myself ;-)

As a data point for a local 991.1 GT3, Dundon catted long tube headers + GPS valve controller + turn away tips also pass Laguna sound. Pretty impressive with no side mufflers helping!
