GTRS colors
I'm gonna try this again since I'm new to the forum and I was redirected here. Anyhow just got my VIN from the dealer for my GT2RS. It is now sitiing at the port. i ordered a GT sliver with red/black interior and guards red guages. I have noticed more non silver cars coming into the USA so that raises my curiosity what motivated you to order your color? For me it was the beautiful contrast of the red/black interior with silver though it looks beautiful with a black car too. In addition I wanted the weissech package stripes to be more visible as they are with the GT silver which is why I did not go for black. My buddy has been trolling me since then with all these black cars on instagram. So just informally I wanted to see all of yours choices and what motivated you. Also did anyone order the photobook with the car?

I ordered black with the red/black alcantara interior because I was caught out initially with the PTS fiasco. I didn't know we needed to submit my full spec in the system when I received the PTS allocation, so when they announced the 12/23 hard cut off date, I had PTS but didn't get WP with it. So I ended up choosing standard black WP. Then a few months goes by, I get a call from PCNA telling me PTS is now reopen and said I could swap for a September build slot PTS WP. My black car was already at Emden, so I didn't want to wait another 6 months for PTS, so I opted to keep my "poor man" spec black GT2RS WP. Should have gotten my car a month ago, but it was stuck in Custom Tailoring because it waiting for the stupid alcantara seat belt covers.
GT Silver is the launch color for the GT2RS, so it is the most common color for the GT2RS, with black coming in second.
I didn't order the photo book this time, since it was just another run-of-mill black GT2RS WP

I'm old school and prefer the V1's directional arrow system. While I like the clean look of hidden wires, I prefer to not remove any panels on my cars nowadays and keep everything OEM.

The escort max 360 has directional arrows and a big plus AUTO lockouts. The V1 has fallen behind since the blind spot K band radar came out. I run both the R3 and max 360, I gave up on the V1 long time ago.

Love the GT silver 2RS launch color combo with black/red interior. Hope to be in the market for that spec in a couple years time

thanks I'm hoping it looks as good as in the promotionals. My other concern is the sound. I haven't heard and actual GT2RS in person but on the videos.... well eh not so impressive I hope I am totally blown away by the real thing

I have been a big BMW enthusiast they kinda lost there way with the M4 and the fake sound. At least Porsche has not come to that.

Youtube videos doesn't really capture the full bass of the GT2RS exhaust. Make no mistake, it is loud as hell. It's so loud that I would close the valve when I'm on the highway, as it has a drone at cruising speed. Makes the stereo literally useless.
