Default Gulf Blue / Meissen Blue Question

I find the two colors very similar, under artificial light they look about the same to my (untrained) eye.

Does anyone have any side by side photo's taken under natural light?

Thanks, Jon

I posted comparison somewhere probably in Eduardo's PTS sticky thread. Meissen is not as loud as Gulf. Less saturated. Quite different.
Here's one thread that I found but not the one that I was thinking about.

I own Meissen but don't have side by side pics. However, I've seen gulf and it looks much more intense blue.. like kids PJ's.. Meissen is pale, powder blue my wife (that just happened) calls it.

I have some good pics of Meissen from euro delivery, and as usual, I take the opportunity to overshare other gearhead pictures which I think could be cool.

I pass the torch to someone else who can show us some good gulf pics.. I think getting these two colors side by side in real life must be really tough.. maybe during pebble beach or rennsport I can find some gulf sisters to park next to?

Edit: all the pictures posted backwards so the Meissen gt3 pics are at the end.

Brings back old PTS memories. Gulf Blue got me obsessed with vintage Porsche colors. All down hill from there. I had collected most every picture of Gulf and Meissen available, then landed on Meissen because it was more subtle and toned down/buttoned up. Can't go wrong with either. You'll know quickly which color is right for you. Gulf gets quite bright in the sun.

Confusing thing about these colors, Gulf in particular, is that they almost always look different. In the link that I posted above, there's some pics that I took of a Gulf Blue Macan. They accurately represent the color in sunlight and shade.

Now think of that color (the Gulf Blue Macan) and remove some of the saturation and a touch of the blue, and you have Meissen. These colors are well documented online. Good luck.

Thank you brother, it was special. So special in fact that while there were multiple unique vehicles present I didn't have the urge to go drive a single one (also my new wife would have cut my ***** off if I'd dared leave the venue to steal a few twisted behind the wheel :-). )
