Maybe there is reason why Porsche has decided to only make one year of GT3 and GT2RS (because next year those cars would make less hp given the same specifications).
I am not selling mine, maybe ever! We are lucky to have them now.

The only market for manual is the US. For some nostalgic reason, we Americans still have a healthy appetite for three peddle cars.
No complaints. I’ll keep buying them as long as they are willing to produce them!

i think you have this back to front. 99% of Americans can’t drive a manual and have no interest in them at all. I bet as well that the vast majority of P car owners can’t drive stick either - all those Macan moms and Panemera Dads. It’s just a small part of those people into cars who, I agree with you, have a nostalgic reason to want to drive a manual. And yes I get the “feeling” bit as well but my point is that outside of North America kids and grandparents can drive stick.

and that’s the reason many outside US don’t prefer manuals in their performance cars. They have to drive manuals in all their other cars so there’s less appeal for it on their fun cars. Manual = cheap cars is the genera attitude in some places. Just look at the numbers for Porsche...the US has much higher demand for manual. Can vs want.
Also, in some European countries the manual costs more than the PDK due to not being as fuel efficient.

Three Wheelin'
10hp for the particulate filter seems not bad?

Essentially the power loss has come from the need to fit a more restrictive exhaust to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions

My daily is a GTI with DSG. My C2S is a manual.

Mine is a DSG as well. I've heard the manual isn't that great from various reviews but I've never driven one myself.
