Same for me; was it standard on 3rs? I didn't order it but my 3rs showed up with it.

Default gt3

I've never ordered on past specs but came on previously owned GT3 purchased last month and I like it. Surprised a real aluminum cap not offered aftermarket?

I know right? But of course they only include it at no cost because it's plastic. That's Porsche for you. The term "aluminum-look" is kinda funny though. Can just hear them in the PAG marketing team meeting -- This will sound better than "shiny silver plastic"!

Some lessons are only learned from the school of hard knocks. About 15 years ago I drove my brother's Dodge Viper for a few laps at Watkins Glen. I was just wearing shorts that day because of the high temperatures. As I quickly exited the hot car, I heard a sizzling sound and then a sharp pain in my leg. I still have a scar on my leg, but at least the hair grew back. The side exhausts were replaced on later models.
