But think how much more weight an actual aluminum cap would add!
Not to mention resulting undistributed weight and distortion of axial loads over the differentials which could also cause LSD misinterpretation and the dreaded mustang-spinning syndrome... Go figure!
sounds like a great idea... until you accidentally drop it while fumbling with it and it swings down and hits your fender (possibly chipping the paint). not worth the risk, even if you think you'd never drop it.
Am I the only one that prefers the plain black plastic cap? It's a better match for all the plastic aero trim bits on the car, IMO. Bonus that it's free...
