the quality of the CF seems nice.
but for ME...
i dont remove my ***** just b/c i dont plan to have sex today
i bring them with me everywhere. YMMV

It looks fine if not confused, but what’s the deal with the neutered GT3’s and RS’s?
Isnt that what regular 911’s are for?

I keep my ***** in my wife’s purse. Safer there next to my $.

Not a a fan of no wing. I am a fan of a bigger wing. That might say something about something ....

I agree with this.

Full disclosure, I despise the carbon fiber trim look anyway as it ALWAYS looks contrived and attention seeking. It's an unfinished material whose only purpose is strength to weight, which is fine, but when it's unfinished it looks worse than a primered but unpainted door or quarter panel.

It then force multiplies it's forced attention seeking by being exposed in areas where weight savings would be extremely minimal anyway, and where strength is meaningless to begin with.

That said, the lines on the wingless car are nicer than I would have thought they'd be and if your goal is to get less attention while street driving around town then it's certainly a viable option.

Even though someone would only be doing this if they weren't intending to track or flat out autobahn it, I'd still be concerned about not only the lack of downforce (one could say hey, I don't "need" that much for slower driving) but the new significantly changed asymmetry of the end state aerodynamics. That wing is massive (comically so when not at a closed circuit, which is probably your point to begin with) but front end and other aerodynamic considerations were co-designed with it. Yeah I know, just a slow drive around town tonight so let's take the wing off. But how bad is the asymmetry? Looks like it would be very significant, with perhaps more unintended consequences than one may consider when overemphasizing what it looks like in that primo valet spot outside the restaurant.

I think it looks beautiful without the wing. That's exactly what I'd do.
That RS wing is an unnecessary beacon of duchebaggery that some of us would rather avoid. But just because we don't want to drop our daughters off at school in what looks like Cup car, doesn't mean we don't appreciate the rest of the GT3RS. While it's a brilliant marketing tool, the wing kit is simply not functional for folks driving around on the street, so it's only a matter of preference. I'm with you, OP. Looks cool.

Haha. It’s a 911 with 21 in rear wheels, fender vents, lack of rear seats (need to make two trips to school for your daughters), etc. don’t say race car....
