100% agree and I recommend hearing it in person and driving in that particular car as well.........nothing like hearing it first hand.

991.1 GT3RS
Thanks for the insight into the options for exhaust upgrades. I have purchased an 991.1 GT3 RS which I will use for spirited touring and half a few track days each year. The most disappointing thing (apart from the stock stereo) is the exhaust. I would like something a bit throatier but not outrageous. I still want to do some highway driving without getting a headache. Since you have the new side muffler deletes with valves my thought is to install these to give me a bit better sound and decrease the heat to the rear tyres. I will also add the reinforcement brace to the OEM rear muffler. From there if I want more sound I thought I would either install the minimax centres or the centre bypass. What are your thoughts re this strategy?

I've put Dundon headers on my GT4, 991.1 GT3 and both 991.2 GT3s. It's well documented their systems make more power and they sound great. Outstanding fit, construction and customer service. If you don't like it you can send it back in 30 days for a full refund. Give Jaimie a call at Dundon. You won't be disappointed.

At the end of the day, you should purchase the system that fits within your budget. Some shops are known for good products, while others are known for crappy products.
I have the GMG exhaust system on my CGT and I have the Dundon street header with loud muffler on my Speedster and the Dundon street header with OEM titanium muffler on my 911R. I didn't plan on putting the Dundon street header on my R initially, but I was so impressed with their system in my Speedster that I ordered another set of the street header for my R. Having said that, Dundon system ain't exactly cheap and you get what you pay for. Dundon uses 321 Stainless Steel, which is about 30-35% more expensive per pound in costs compared to the typical 304 SS that most tuners uses. So it's up to your wallet and preference.

With both cars (Speedster and R) having the Dundon street headers, how does the stock titanium sound compared to the Dundon loud muffler?
