Default Tidy full harnesses when not in use

Hi everyone, just joined the forum and enjoying all the information here! Question if I may? I'm about to collect my first GT3 RS. Its a 991.1 with full club sport pack fitted, carbon seats and harnesses for driver and passenger. Is there a simple way to roll up and fix the full harnesses in the car when not in use? Just stop them rattling or getting dirty I guess. Also I'm sure I also saw something about the belt release buckle being able to be removed if not in use? Save sitting on it!!! Apologies if this has been asked a squillion times before.

I extend the lap belts and tuck them down the sides of the seat and lay them on the floor behind the front seat. I extend the sub belt and fold it on the seat forward. Intake the buckle off and flip the shoulder belts around and over the seat and clip them together behind the front seat using the buckle. I then use a Velcro fastener to secure the buckle to the back of the front seat so the belts don't flip around.

You'll get used to them. Mostly you will want the buckle extended over the front edge of the seat and the shoulder belts tied together as Cobalt says.

I love the velcro idea! But regarding the substrap belt, I just lift up the cushion and pass the belt back through and store the strap between the cushion and the CF. Only takes a few seconds.

On Schroth belts the buckle is removable. I took mine off and stored it in the frunk. The front sub belts fit nicely under the cushion and the rear belts without the buckle can be rolled up behind the seats. Without the heavy buckle they stay put.

Four pairs of sports socks (you can even match to the color of your car) and some elastic bands does it for me. Just don't leave the socks in the car, people think a whole football team changed in your car. I do not like velcros as they tend to stick together randomly when not in use.

I have done pretty much the same thing. Just tucked the straps in the front down the sides and the rear belts I have placed on the floor under the seats. No noise, no movement and doesn't bother anyone. I got a nice pair of harness retainers on the cage to tidy up the loose straps and its overall quite a neat setup.

Hi Hashlak, thanks for the reply and info. Where did you get the harness retainers? They're very neat!

I drive on track without cushion, so that solves the drivers side part. The shoulder belts just hang behind seat, as in above pic.
Passenger seat is belted in and shortened up to keep the from flying around.

Hi Cobalt appreciated your answers and pics. A couple of questions..... How do you remove the Schroth buckle? I've seen comments about just pressing something on the rear? Also, I think the dealer has installed the anti sub straps incorrectly. There is no adjustment possible unless you move the seat forward and fiddle at the floor mounts. They cannot be adjusted whilst sitting? Sorry to pester!!!
