do you think they will make more .2 GT3 RS models than the number of .1 GT3 RS models out there ?

At least as many.

By the end of 2019 there will be a ton of GT cars.
Many still with factory warranty. Dealers know it and ADM’s are coming down much faster then 3 years ago.
Including on the GT2RS that we didn’t have 3 years ago.

Also add the Speedster, Spyder, GT4 etc. Big precentage of the production is going to GT and enthusiastist products.

That, tons of NA 4.0 for sale soon, Plus; In the US the interest going up, .2 ADM and resale prices on .1 going down will see many “collectors” exiting the market the next 18 months.

I know RS is an RS but I doubt I will ever track my cars so not sure if I am doing the right thing .. thoughts ?
Is this a trick question

I think if I had a chance at a .2 3RS, I would likely trade my 6MT PTS .2 GT3 for one. Only thing holding me back would be the fact I love the 6MT and still have not entirely embraced the PDK.
It would be a game time decision when the dealer called me, if I was that lucky to have the choice.
That being said, I still have not even taken delivery of my .2 GT3...September can't come quick enough,

Every time I drive the gt3, I end up thinking Gt3 is a Gt3 and RS is a RS. Both are great .. it’s just that RS is more track oriented and less comfortable to drive on streets whereas GT3 is compatible in any habitat

Ofcourse RS will hold value better but I have to spend 45k more also to get the RS
The way Porsche is producing GT cars ( number of cars and variants) not sure how long these cars will hold their values the way they are currently holding!

I politely turned down a .2RS allocation at MSRP when the dealer wanted my .2GT3 6spd allocation. Nothing to do with the money, just want a manual transmission and don't have much time for the track anymore with two of my kids playing travel base/softball.

to step up to RS you will realize 30k in lost cost plus figure another 30k or more cost on RS over sticker so 60k to drive at you present usage of 300 miles ( one tank of gas ) thats works out to $200 per mile experience at zero depreciation on car .
Maybe better go drive an RS to see if the experience is worth it .
The confusing thing for me is that some dealer is holding for a month an allocation for an RS at stricker for you with no commitment to trade your low mile GT3 ; given what so many share here about not being able to get such an allocation

If you have to ask, you're not ready for an RS.
