TPC Racing Side Muffler Delete Bypass Pipes: How they're made in-house!
At TPC Racing, we strive for providing the Porsche community the highest quality top of the line race proven products to offer in the market all handcrafted in the USA!!!
This may not be a new product, in fact for the past three years this has been a proven product that has been offered since 2015 originally designed for our shops very own 991 GT3 for weight reduction and furious cup car sound while maintaining the factory active exhaust control (PSE). Here is an quick inside tour of how they are made here at the TPC Racing HQ!
Our TPC Racing 997/991 GT3 Bypass pipes are the perfect complement to your GT3 removing the heavy weighted side mufflers that come factory on the car, providing the ability for use with the factory active sound control, and a new lively furious tone with a no drone solution for your GT3!
(TPC Racing Bypass pipes equipped on this 991.1 GT3RS)
With weight reduction of ~40lbs, the TPC Racing Bypass pipes are handmade in-house here in the USA by our Master Fabricator using high grade American aircraft raw materials in order to provide the highest quality bypass pipe kit to date. With over emphasizing on the high quality grade, our Master Fabricator takes precious time and focus on fabricating the pipes for optimal performance maximizing airflow by handporting out the inside of the piping from the welds at every pie cut, full custom fabrication of the flange that meets the factory donut gasket for the highest quality seal, as well as have a flex joint for added vibration isolation from extended RPM ranges minimizing stress from the exhaust system and high frequency vibrations thru the chassis.
Tremendous time and attention went into developing the TPC Racing Bypass pipes for your 997 and 991 GT3’s and here shows the process of which the raw material is pulled off the shelf, assembled in the jig, and the fine workmanship of our Master Fabricator takes action! American grade and American made! No cutting corners and going beyond expectation!
This video from our Youtube channel shows the change from OEM side mufflers to substituting the heavy OEM side mufflers with our TPC Racing Bypass pipes with use of the factory active sound control (PSE).
The TPC Racing Bypass pipes are compatible with the following vehicles below that utilize the same style muffler, typically all 997/991 GT3/RS's.

Does this in conjunction with a center bypass drone? I like the idea of this dropping a lot of weight and would like something a little louder than just a center bypass but wasn't quite sure the whole header thing was the direction to go.

Yes they work with a center bypass system if you want your car to sound almost exactly (and just as loud) as a 991 GT3 Cup Car. Essentially, you would be making a straight pipe system with the TPC Racing Bypass pipes and a center bypass section.
