That's annoying to hear, yet you have these assclown flips and damn stealerships taking allocations to spec the cars and sell to the highest bidder.

Default First GT Car

Using same dealer for 11 years for service on 95 993 Cab 03 996 C4S (sold) and bought one car from them...14 Cayenne GTS 3 years ago CPO. Sales guy called me back after I asked to be placed on list. Paid MSRP on 2018 GT3. Dealer sells about 40 a year on GT3.

Msrp for me. which is easy if you put the effort in ahead of time of the release. Msrp allocation now?... you have Better odds off winning Powerball to pay the dealer mark up. Instead start working on an alllocation now for the next generation if you want to pay msrp

Perhaps people are now late enough. 3 RS is what people want and PAG will slot in some late GT3s like the 991.1. All will be ROW bound given the particulate filter requirement in the EU and the easiest car for them to produce is the touring given it shares the least amount of parts with the RS.

Got lucky (I guess) and specced my .1 at MSRP. Put down a deposit the day the 911R was announced, and let my guy know I was looking for a 3 pedal. That was what, about two years ago? Got a call in March of 17 that I could come put in a demand order for another PDK, but reminded him that I wanted a manual. Since then, I have been presented 3 "used" cars at significantly over MSRP, but seen plenty of manuals at the track, and puttering around town.

I got big dogged, big time.

Got my money back yesterday.

Good news is you have a .1GT3. I have owned both. There ain't that much difference.

I highly doubt it. I think it's just people who paid MSRP are more willing to post their success in threads like this one.

MSRP deal here. Placed deposit June 2016. No past Porsche purchase history which is fairly uncommon, I believe.

It'll be hard or impossible to get a GT3 at Msrp now.
