I have 2 E6s wagons one with CCBs and one with steel and a GT3, the wagon with CCBs will outbreak and accelerate the Gt3 any day of the week, I would dare to say that in anything but tight cornering the wagon with CCB would give a very tight run to the GT3. I have routinely done 1:37<1:39 at Laguna in the CCB wagon, just plain and simply they defy physics. and then the SOUND of a V8.....

The proper Porsche to race is the Turbo S not the GT3. Actually just bought the wife a GLC AMG 6.3 ......well the 6.3 is for when I have to drive it(:

Seems like the E63s would have no problems up against a turbo s . Impressive how it kept up/pulled slightly away up to 100mph to the ferrari 488

Absolutely, but it def hold its own with the fastest up to 186mph
No comparison there and a no brainer for sure, Even the pany turbo s can't hold a candle to this beast

You guys are making me rethink selling my wagon...
Up here a mile up it will easily outrun a GT3 stock for stock. Blast on track to (like alstofor I've got one with CCBs and it's shocking how well it performs.

if your wagon is a 15-16 DO NOT sell it you will regret! the 4L engine does not come close to the 5,5. I traded my C63 for an E63 in the old country and I am seriously considering selling it and buying a used 5.5 again. Call me crazy but I love the 5.5 and 6.3 engines. I will not sell the 5.5 I have in the USA even if you paid me over MSRP. Just the interior in the 18 feels like a cheap Japanese car designed by an 19 year old.

Imo, the 18s is light years better than 14-16my. Out of the box the 18s is so much faster eliminating the need for a tune. As far as interior goes, my 18 is so much better and def not cheap feel to it. I got the interior/exterior carbon fiber packages and that makes a huge difference. Def worth the upgrade

At HP/Dollar, Performance / Dollar, Quality / Dollar and Equipment / Dollar I've always believed the AMG E-63S, at half the price of my TTS,
and comparable Quality represented the Best Buy / Buck in performance cars. My 2014 AMG E-63S has Twin Turboed 5.5 L V8.
Motor Trend dynoed that E63S Engine at far closer to 700 HP than the advertised 577 HP. Too bad they downsized the 5.5L to 4.0 L in the latest models.
The larger 5.5 L V8 Engine has more Torque in Traffic at lower RPM so is immediately responsive to throttle input without waiting for boost to arrive in the
smaller Engine. It also has a far larger Fuel Tank and a complete Spare Tire Kit, Paddle shifting, and Sport Chrono Equivalent suspension and power maps.
Track Handling is also surprisingly good for a Heavy 4 Door Sedan with a Huge Trunk and VERY comfortable back-massaging seats. On high speed Turnpikes,
the slightest Throttle Pressure will leave other traffic shrinking in your mirrors incredibly rapidly.
