Singer ticks all the boxes for me. Beautiful road car, with classic design and incredible attention to detail. A work of art you can drive every day.

I love (LOVE) Singer, but why doesn't Porsche get in on the party and make a classic longhood style (widebody for me please!) throwback with modern amenities??

I would get a Singer because they have a local dealership to me, and you can't get a new street legal RUF, to my knowledge.
Not too worried about side markers, guess I could switch them now that it's back.

No he wasn't there, but his new BC was... like jewelry.

A very good question, for me the Singer is a work of art, but not my perfect picture, a little too retro styling in places, I do like the Williams Singer very much, but with my dreaming hat on, not 100% sure of the arches shapes in silhouette, a little too 'flat' on the top.

If money was no object, I'd drive a number of older 911's (I have but a long time ago, not sure how my old RS would feel now) then modify to my liking and do a bit of a Magnus Walker on the car and make a personal statement. The Run is lovely and has more credibility, but it still looks a little too recreated 964 and £1m buys more than that doesn't it ?

But if money was no object and it was Ruf OR Singer, my heart goes Singer, my head Ruf. I think my head would win and I'd be looking at the CTR, it's what Ruf is all about

While I respect what Ruf has done and I like their cars, this price would seem crazy at least and downright insane at best. The market is clearly inflated and I much rather buy a real Porsche (e.g., GT2RS) than any tuner car - and for less than half the cost.

If money is an object and you still want a RUF, my local pcar dealer just got a beautiful red 987 Cayman RUF originally built for Mrs. RUF. LWB, aero, lots of HP, 30K something miles and very reasonable for a RUF VIN car. Zero affiliation with any potential sale but if anyone wants pics send me a PM and I'll go take a couple as it isn't on their web site yet.

Attended a private first viewing of the singer lightweight car this evening. .. oh boy, I must say this thing is like a complicated watch in the flesh.. utterly intriguing and fascinating in every detail. Almost too pretty to drive.

I still have my copy of Road and Track's World's Fastest Car from 87. I love everything about Ruf, always have...but the Williams Singer is the car I would most like to own on the planet. Period. It is the ultimate halo car for my taste. If I had one I'd sleep on the floor of the garage next to it.

neither. Singer is too fussy and Ruf is ugly. I'd take a nicely modded 993 or g body over either and save myself $500k.
