Do a lap with nagata san here, he does taxi laps in the apex m3, and he is pretty great you will learn fast.
Maybe for the time here, cheat a bit and go to team schirmer and get their mental fast track alignment and put back to stock before you leave, money well spent especially if you trailer it in the long runs between tracks.

Im a terrible passenger, I’d be crying like a little girl.
im getting my car setup at a local shop that should know..
im traveling most big distances with trailer for extra tires :-)
Maybe try some MPSC R once I get closer to 1:40 at Spa..

I'm pretty sure you'll do Under Eight.

You will do fine on Spa. 1.40 was a ***** out lap on .1 rs, but in .2 rs you will do it fast. Go on throtle when doing the right corner right after the left on eau rouge and never lift until the next. 2 seconds right there. Cheat line is always there.

You will need a Porsche 919 to do a 1.40 at Spa rather than a .1 rs or .2 rs, Cup 2 R or otherwise.....

^ LOL, I was about to say that is some lap! Ha, seriously 2:40 would be a major effort. Would be great to ride with a fast driver there to see where most time lies.

Hi all!
sorry iam not so dynamic on this forum :-(

here is one update about the situation with my 2 rs;

the car has now 19000kms and i made recently in my porsche center the 20k service who costed me 1497€, not bad at all

i already made 2 track day this year (castellet, magny cours GP and next monday Dijon prenois)
i made a record lap on castellet F1 Track for a street legal car (oem, engine/suspension/tire, michelin cup2 r)
in 2min13 who made me happy.
On magny cours i made 1min47 and the record is still for the pro driver Romain Monti with the 488 pista in 1.44.80 on cup2 r aswell.
the condition i had on that day was not perfect especially about the wind but even with that the best of the 2rs on this track can be around 1min46 but not possible to do better i think, i heard that the mclaren 600lt did a laptime close to the pista and so better than the 2rs!

so next monday Dijon prenois and i will have a big week at the end of May at the ring with the 2rs to break the 7btg barrier, i think it will be not a problem if the track condition is fine, especially with the new track asphalt on some parts, TBH my objective is now more close to the 6:50btg laptime, so that can be translated to a 7:05 full lap, the sure thing is that this year for sure there will be few street legal cars will go under 7 on with no problem, schirmer or manthey gt3 rs.

Good to see You back on track. Enjoying the videos as always.
Any Spa trackdays planned? Really curious how fast the 2RS would be there with the setup you have and so much track experience under your belt.

Is the difference between a full lap and BTG so small - 15s?
I have seen mentions of 20-25 sec.
Or is it because of the ridiculous speed 2RS gets up to at Dottinger Hohe on a full lap.

311rs tested already the gt2 rs on Spa with a laptime of 2.34 on cup2 r and standard setup, manthey tested the 2 rs with kw and Cup2 r in 2.32 with 2/3 sec traffic, so the gt2 is faster here than a Koenigseg One :-)

difference between btg and full lap depend of the car but easy:
the straight line with a gt2 is around 18sec(that we do not count in the BTG lap) BUT we also must consider that between the intersection of the GP track and the T13 curve, when they do record lap this section isn’t include VS yes on BTG configuration, with a 2 or 3 rs it is around 3sec ;-)
so the difference between BTG and full lap is around 15/16 sec on gt2 rs

I just checked these times when running the E46 M3 we use in RCN: approx 30s between Gantry and Bridge and about 5 second from finish line to start line (next T13) so 25s difference in that cars case.

I'd really love to get specifics on suspension setup. Camber? Toe? Height? There are not a lot of us tracking the GT2 RS, so I'm reaching out for setup guidance. I did my first track weekend with all stock settings except max wing at Virginia International (VIR) and there is still plenty to learn for me. Really, I was a second slower than my track prepped 991.2 Turbo S, and only a couple seconds faster than the GT3 RS's out there on Hoosiers. I'm sure most of the difference is in the driver's seat, but having confidence in my suspension settings would help a lot.

The best is to ask to a pro Garage because it depend of a lot of factor to setup correctly a car
