Default 991.1 GT3 RS values at a nose dive?

Hey there folks. I just wanted to see peoples opinion on 991.1 GT3 RS values. Seems like People resold them round the tune of $250k around a year ago, but now most are sitting in the 210-220 range which a handful are now in the 190k range. If we were speculate, why are GT3 RS values plummeting? Do you think $190k will be the norm thus positioning some outliers in the 180k range and less?

Newsflash (not)... .2 hitting.

Happens in every cycle and if you're honest with yourself it's not nose driving, it's getting to reality.

Still getting MSRP for a 2 year old car with miles is incredible.

Simple.
Exactly.

exactly, RS is actually holding up pretty well considering:

- relatively high production
- cars getting higher miles and less warranty as time goes by
- new .2 GT cars hitting the market

still, once winter hits you will be able to bargain a bit more I guess

It's hilarious that people think they will keep driving cars for free. In 99.5 percent of cases, a car is a depreciating asset. These newer Porsches are produced in such high quantities. They are not collector cars.

People aren't rationale, period. While you can get RS' for sticker you still have people posting higher mileage cars for sale +$10K over.

Of course they are plummeting. Haven't you seen the video of the 991.2 GT3 smoking the 991.1 RS? I mean, the RS isn't even a motorsports motor! Fire sale time!

As someone looking to get back into a P GT car I've been looking at .1 RS's and am amazed that a 5-7k mile car with PCCB's, lift, leather, sports chrono are still being offered by dealers in the $210-225 range - still a fair amount over MSRP for a 2-3 year old car - the value is amazing. I'm sure you could knock a dealer down a few thou but the craziness also lies in that those with an MSRP allocation for a moderately spec'd .2 RS are getting a superior car and would be paying less than a lot of these dealer two year old .1 RS's?!?!?
The .1 RS supply - demand equation has to start obeying the laws fairly soon (doesn't it?!?! )

It may....it may not....this topic has gone on for years and likely will continue....I think regardless of "what it's worth" or "what it will be worth" they're just cars and meant to be driven....On the flip side compared to most current high priced cars the entire GT lineup will always be a great buy if depreciation is a concern......
