991.1 GT3 RS values at a nose dive?

I've only been around RL a little while (compared to many) but I still can't get over how many "value' threads get beaten to death.
Buy what you love and more importantly: drive it (at the track, in the canyons, on the turnpike .... wherever it suits you).
I recently broke my crystal ball so I'm unable to predict future values.
I'll check with the cleaning person on Thursday. I'm certain he'll know.
Or maybe the cabana boy is a better bet

Amen to that. Driving a new DB11 as a daily, knowing that it already dropped around a 100K but I LOVE the thing. Definitely worth it, makes me happy, every day, twice a day.

unless you need a manual, Id get RS for same price. Ive had both. Its a special car. 2 years from now everyone here will be talking about how the sky is falling on GT3.2 market and how they cant get their ADM back.

^The problem is they put the same engine and HP, but with more torque, in a lighter prettier package(New Vantage). -at a $50,000 discount. I still do not understand their marketing. They killed the DB11 themselves, in my opinion.

so are you saying an RS is an RS hahahah

I pretraded my RS for a new RS and I have a GT3MT but I would have kept the RS had I not gotten an allocation for the '19. RS is RS. I had an '06 and '09 SL65. Fun cars. wish I had not sold the '09. Oh well.

Both the .1 and .2 RS's are strong values when compared to the alternatives like the Speciale, 675LT, Performante, Pista, etc. In fact, you can have a .1 and a .2 for the price of some of those. Of course an ADM would erode some of the financial advantage but a .2 at current ADM is still a value in absolute terms.

If anyone wants to trade their 991.1 RS for my 997.1 Turbo with 67k miles and about 1000 revs in range 5...I may be up for a trade. Word on the street is the .1GT3RS is about to plummet with the impending market crash and 997.1 Turbos in MT will be the new Gold Standard.
You heard it here first. Ill take a high spec model in Basalt Black, Black, or Guards/Carmine Red. Deviated red stitching is a must.

Guys the devotees can laugh but with more GT3 991.1 RS made (6,500 Wikipedia) than the standard 991.1 GT3 and the 991.2 GT3 RS being a better car there will be some super cheap examples around, already sub 200k, could dip to 150/60k but there you have to buy ..... did Porsche spoof everybody by making soooooooo many

Donate the extra cash on top to the Travis Manion and Wingman Foundations. Tax write off, I got your back sir
All jokes aside, from a pauper that looks at these high end forums for the pictures, you guys have amazing cars and can afford them obviously. If you drove the crap out of it, then resale value should not matter right? You got your moneys worth it seems. But then again, maybe that's why I am in a lowly 7.1tt(other than working a gov't job as a lowly pilot)

Side notes. 1) Doesn't help credibility to quote Wikipedia. 2) There is no official total prod figure, it isn't 6500 (but is still a large number globally). 3) There is a specific production figure for US cars - 1318 - hardly a volume seller. For those that care about watching the market and commenting about lots of cars, this is the relevant number for the US. 4) It is a depreciating asset, shock I know.
RL needs a specific value forum to corral all this nonsense.
