I'm pissed too (got a text from my SA this afternoon). I had an Early October build that I was supposed to receive at Christmas time. My dealer then pushed Porsche to move it back to November hoping for PTS. Now I don't get the color I want and I'm waiting about 60-90 days longer to get the car. Wish I had a product that I could do this to my customers and they would happily take it and still pay ADM!

My RS commission was approved for PTS subj. to feasibility study. I think right now it's just a case of the factory clearing out the regular demand before starting PTS.

If I were a betting man, I'd put money on the uberbucks-swansong car getting announced before our PTS cars get made

I didn't take the PTS bait, my build is next week. Those gambling on a PTS 3RS, I thank you for my build being moved up. Hopefully someone wins the PTS lottery.

How so?

My allocation month nor delivery date hasn’t changed from my request of PTS.

It's okay, enjoy your car as it's meant to be used. For me the 1.2 RS will be a huge overlap, and I won't get to take it to the track until 1Q next year at the earliest. Drive yours well and share your experience!!

My original allocation was a September build. If I wanted a chance at PTS I would have been pushed back to a November build. I didn't take the PTS route and my build was moved up to 7/27 production. I'm assuming I got bumped up as some choose to take the November builds with a chance at PTS.

Time is the most precious commodity. Agreed drive these cars as meant to be vs waiting and waiting on PTS.

I have multiple emails from PCNA directly with the PTS code in my build and many CXX options painted in the PTS color. I had 8 of 11 CXX items listed approved with a couple of feasibility items being things like redone doors, lower dash etc. It will save me $65k in options..

EDIT: Also to add there was no change to my PTS on my 2 RS so only the 3 RS is being impacted.

My PTS update- I got an early GT3 manual allocation and built up a nice car that I really enjoy. With the big wing it gets a lot of attention and I like to be less noticed so I got an allocation for another ‘18 GT3, this time a Touring. I had a July 12th lock and October delivery. A week before I had to finalize my build, my dealer called and said another dealer wanted to trade their allocation for mine so they could do PTS. I didn’t even know I had that option so decided, why not. My Speed Yellow was approved with a December 21st delivery (so far).

Another update. Was at dealer checking on mine. I asked to see if I could get Atlanta PEC delivery and was approved. Crazy thing is even this change moves order back to v100 but was still confirmed for pts. Should lock soon and bonus is pec Atlanta delivery.

SA also confirmed with email direct from Porsche. All gt3rs pts are on hold and no confirmation if it will reopen.

Well looks like my SA was correct. My PTS signal green GT3 just went V215 and confirmed Atlanta PEC delivery. Anyone done this before and drive out of state? I will be driving back to Charlotte area so wonder how they take care of the registration and state taxes? Only bad thing is it will be a Feb 2019 delivery so hopefully weather holds up.
