Rennlister Joe Weinstein had his GT4 strut tower repaired here:

Shell of these cars are the same as Cup Cars and they take a beating on curbs all the time. I get airborne at Road Atlanta at turn 3 and never saw that happen. Must have been a huge hit or defective weld at a seam

Is that their Nobull car, or a customer car?

This is critical safety issue. Imagine running full tilt on a high speed track and this let’s go....

Could be the cup cars have the cage welded to the strut towers reinforcing that area or maybe the higher spring rates prevent bottoming out of the suspension.... Or both?

Different location than the GT4 failures- around the edge rather than punched out of the middle. Was that car at stock ride height? Stock suspension?

These were off a GT4... Franco79 posted the blue one. The red one was at a local track. Alekshop hasn't said anything publicly about it yet... just gotta wait and see.

All those cars see track work. Defective strut tower design or some substantial incident...

Man, I wacked my fair share of curbs, a little troubling running the double stiff .2GT3RS spring rates!

That is classic fatigue failure. Effectively microplasticity. I wonder if these cars have aftermarket rose joints? Could also be a metallurgical issue from a bad batch of aluminum...
