Default .2 GT3 and aftermarket exhaust Q

hello fellas;

stupid question and sorry if has been addressed in the past. but for folks who are picking up their new .2GT cars are you having your exhaust of choice installed on delivery of the car or later on? is their a general RL consensus regarding this issue?

cheers

That's my opinion, too. Listen to the car first. Wait until it's broken in, than take it to some canyon or track under WOT, then decide. I was underwhelmed when I first got the car, even with PSE on. Looked at all the exhaust threads, and was already deciding which one to get. It got louder as it got broken in. Took it to the track past weekend. IMO, the exhaust note is just perfectly loud for the track, and also perfectly just loud enough for the highway. I'm staying stock.

LOL. If you already have it, then yeah, just have it installed on delivery. Same way people have PPF, roll bars, 6 point harness, etc installed on delivery. Definitely more convenient.

If you plan to follow a break in routine, you may find it more difficult to maintain your control if you have the exhaust on already. Center delete really makes the car sing and you'll want to hear it again and again.

at delivery is best option
Also most likely dealer will not have the gut to charge for it , so you save 100-150 dollars

Definitely recommend having it installed on delivery or ASAP.

At 3 days, 4 hours, and 23 minutes after you take delivery. No sooner. No later.

Anyone have any experience w a full QUIET system? I live in CA, favorite and closest track is Laguna Seca w a 92db sound limit. I know- Dundon, GMG, Akro, sharkwerks... but most people go for noise. I want performance, and maybe 1-2db less than stock (i hear stock blows sound, too).

Get yourself a set of tip assemblies with turn down tips, they bolt on and off at the track in minutes and will get your DB's down a bit.
