Heard that with low chance that PTS might open again.

How do I find out though?

1) Politely bother SA?

2) Check the configurator and see if it's up again?

I like to summon the PTS Wizard. Go to your nearest volcano and throw 3 goats in it, then recite the bible, but in Japanese. Once that's completed you must walk the Mojave desert for 2 weeks and when you emerge create a smoke signal saying "I love Ferdinand" using nothing but natural materials. Then, if its also the summer solstice the PTS Wizard will appear. entice him with cheap scotch and perhaps he can answer your PTS questions.

How it usually works is you'll ask the SA, he'll say he will look into it and get back to you......then the phone call comes!....he tells you the window is open and you're good to go.....you put your PTS order in and the excitement begins!!!!.....then your SA calls you and tells you the build is on hold an you need to pick a stock color because the window has closed.....or you can try AC's solution which has a similar ending.....

At this point, should I even bother?

Can you lose allocation just by applying for PTS?

Usually you do not....an allocation is for a car, not a color.....

It's the very end of the production (Oct Build) so wondering if I should take a chance.

If you're asking if you should forgo the allocation to wait for another that could possibly get you PTS my answer would be absolutely no....take the sure thing

I meant if applying for PTS for late production vehicle can cause loss of allocation since they won't make any more.

Let your SA know you want PTS if it becomes available.

I heard about PTS opening for the .1RS first here on RL...walked into dealer and changed the order. If you wait for the dealer you may never know it's opened up, and it seems to close as mysteriously as it opens.

Same here. I emailed my sales manager and he had to check with PAG. Fortunately for me the window opened right when I was putting my build together.
