Time for some mods to GT3
It has been 6 months since I picked up my 991.2 MT GT3. 2000 miles and 3 track weekends later, I can appreciate how great the GT4 was, but the GT3 is just at a different league.
It all started with me getting sick and tired of dealing with the Porsche Track Precision App. I use the VBox sport as the GPS for it. It is just as reliable as it gets. While half of the time the Porsche imprecise app fails to save my video, the VBox has never let me down keeping my data. So I decided to jump to a VBox HD2 Video.
Since the car will be in the shop to nicely install the VBox and hide all cables, I might as well install a rollbar. Based on what has been said here the GMG WEC is so far my choice. I use the car mostly for the track but drive it to work on Fridays. So adding the Schroth 4-point belts for the carbon seats appears to be a nice option for a car that will also be driven on the street. I considered matching the rollbars with the car's graphite blue but think I will get annoyed with that blue bar on my rear view mirror. I don't want them to draw much attention so for now my plan is for matte black with black belts.
The shop that will be doing it (Foreign Affairs Motorsports) has a lot of experience with Akrapovic exhausts. Akrapovic is releasing a new model in June for the 991.2 GT3 with valved side mufflers, race line center muffler replacement, and headers with high flow cats. Might as well...
Look forward to comments. Anything I am missing? Any other ideas?

I use the Vbox HD2 in my RS and love it. Couple of suggestions. Have you heard of Blendmount? They make billet hard mounts for the Valentine One and other radar detectors. They also make one to mount a GoPro to the rearview mirror. I bought that little guy. Then, I purchased a 1" roll bar clamp with GoPro end from Joe's Racing. This allowed me to bolt the front camera directly under the rearview mirror permanently. It hugs really tightly to the rearview mirror and looks trick. I keep the dust cap on the camera when I am not using it. Then, I leave the driver camera in my glovebox and mount it using the suction cup mount Racelogic provides. Like you plan to do, I've hidden my cables.

I had the Akrapovic Race exhaust with headers on my .2 GT3. It really sounded amazing on the car.... With that to say - if you want to know how you'd like it, pull the vacuum lines on your side muffler connectors to the rear muffler and cap them. It will force your car into the louder mode full time. The akra has similar volume. Personally I love it, but you can forget about the radio and bluetooth at highway speed

Disclaimer- I have not installed in a 981/991, but have done so on the prior 997 gen sport bucket seats. Others have done the install on the LWBs and a search should turn up write-ups and photos. I have been planning to set up in my GT4 and considered the 4 pts but kept concluding might as well go the rest of the way to the 6 pts. The seats are coming out anyway, so might as well add the sub- bar. I have been looking at the Cantrell sub bar but there are other options.

I would not use either 4 or 6pt on the street. The GT3 specific Schroth 6 pt harness has sewn in eyelets on the lap belts that use the mounting points for the 3 pt belt system and you then have both available. 3 pt on the street, 6pt plus HANS or Hybrid on track. I believe the 4 pt Schroth has the same eyelets on the lap belts. The shoulder has the ASM feature to avoid submarining.

Get the Schroth GT3 specific HANS 6 point belts. The lap belts anchor using the 3-pt bolt locations on the seat base. Inboard side is the buckle. Outboard side is the lower attachment point of the 3-pt belt. Both are 17mm bolts. Easy install.
Sub-belt - I've used a few different variants. Personally I find the Cantrell to be the easier install of the group and easier to wrap the sub-belts around. The BBi is nice but harder to get the sub belt wrapped properly.

VBOX is great.
Let me know if you need help with that, make sure it comes with all tracks loaded and a nice scene.
I went with BBI roll bar, heard of some fitment issues with others.
Most recently only, you can get the original Porsche bar now in South Florida.
Acro nice, but $$$
I went Fabspeed side muffler delete with flaps. Lighter and cooler running without the 2 big cans and quiet enough with flaps closed.
