TRAKCAR, do you need a VBOX LITE scene or an HD2 scene? Your example video is the old standard definition Lite.

There is a color combination for the CAN twisted pair on the 991.1 and 991.2 cars that is NOT the same as the AiM connections that yield no RPM or some other measures.

I was not aware of that. How does one do it?

Ok, so this is the end result. Would like to thank everyone for the suggestions and specially Peter for all the assistance with the VBox. What I did in the end:
  • Cantrell roll-bar
  • Schroth 6-pt seat belts
  • AWE Wind buffer
  • VBox HD2 video
  • Stainless steel brake lines
  • Fabspeed valved side bypass
  • SharkWerks exhaust tip
  • BMC air filter
  • Antigravity Lithium battery
Now just waiting on BBS FI-Rs. Hopefully in a week or so...

Car looks great. How do you like the Fabspeed valved side bypasses? Looking at going this route as well instead of a center bypass.

I am really happy with it. It is just a tad deeper gutural growl than OEM. The valves work just enough when driving around neighborhood. Not crazy loud I have no problem driving to work. Using the wife-o-meter, a couple of notes - "what was that noise????" - text I got a second after I turned the car on the first time at home...hahaha. But she has driven around and was able to keep conversation with no problem. No problem talking over speakerphone. There is a minute drone between 2100-2200 rpm.

What I am most happy though is about the new shoes! Could not be happier with the BBS FI-R!

Dying to put this thing on the track. Still trying to find a way to join Trakcar in Sebring in September!

Nice job, car looks great. Graphics really make the car stand out, yellow accents are perfect.

Beautiful car aalencar, and the mods are grand!

It sounds like you attached the harness lap belts and sub belts to the seat, is that correct? I am thinking of doing the same, but the OEM Club Sport set up has the harness attached to the chassis (and the shoulder belts to the bar of course), which requires making holes, but it is probably safer. Does anyone know where I can read about the safety of one version vs the other?

Also, I know Agency Power produces a cage that looks closest to OEM but their website says they are based in AZ. TRAKCAR above mentions that there is an outfit in FL that produces a cage like OEM. Who can share the contact details please?

Thank you

Looks really good.

Can you post more pictures of the wheels?? I am assuming there are 20s and no issues with PCCBs?. Do they offer a weight savings?

Thanks

Sorry for iphone pics. If you want more (or better pics) just let me know.

Wheels Boutique said 27 lb (they say 95 lb of rotational weight). No issues with PCCB.

Anybody would change the GT3 wheel center cap with the silver or gold crest?

Major style upgrade + Performance gains from these BBS FI-R's. Once again it was great working with you and I look forward to that photoshoot idea we've been tossing around
