Is it very difficult to separate the shifter from the boot? im planing to get the 911 r carbon shifter as well (cuz it looks so much better) but the shifter boot on my car has red stitching.
It isn't, just a twist and pull very simple for both the original silver look and the carbon 911R. The techs will try and tell you they can't do it but it's really easy.

did you wrap the rear spoiler tear-off edge or is that a CF piece? Or painted?
I thought initially that the TP in black would have this piece in black, but they changed their minds before production iirc.

I did consider painting. But wrapped to see how it would go. Worked perfect so won't paint.
