Bumped an old thread / journey. Sold and 992 touring incoming. Amazing car, enjoyed the build and doing the miles, track days and Targas. A garage queen that didnt mind getting dirty.

I'm curious if the leather modifications you did personally helped or hurt the resale value. I imagine helped since they were so well executed but some people look at non-factory mods different when they aren't easy to remove. Thoughts?

There was a mixture of responses to be honest. Those that appreciated the look and natural wear, those that checked with Porsche and wanted warranty for what ever reason on the seats which they didnt get obviously ? (strange ) But at end I don't think it impacted at all as plenty of buyers and car was unique in its own right. (and this was before the recent surge in demand).
