That’s how you spec a Touring! A true classy. The configuration inside-out is excellent. Enjoy it!

such a beautiful car!
congrats!!
Thanks, after 3 991 i needed some real facts !

So my Touring comparison vs my past .1GT3, eventhough the former is still within the break in 2nd phase

on the Touring you can hear that Porsche used less sound deadening , which is great and give the car an old boxer engine sound style,
at lower speed all right but if driven as a daily car , especially if more than 20 mins on the autobahn then i would look immediatly for less noisy tyres , Michelin PSC2 are way too much

on the Touring any 1st 2nd 3rd ...6th gear is an epic event, the engine is torquey enough to enjoy the car on legal roads even at legal speed!
the push feeling is spectacular, great Porsche engineering job considering is a 9k rpm engine , compared to my M4 comp. the Touring torque on paper is less but feel greater on the Touring , same compared to .1RS or previous .1GT3

Bose is useless on the Touring whilst on the .1GT3 had a reason, did i say .1 GT3/RS was boring under 5k rpms? So a Bose was a good entairteinement , on the Touring you don t need it nor actually you can hear it really well

Flywheel on the Touring seems to be heavier so some, at idle, pdk-s beloved rattles are gone, i guess the heavier flywheel is the reason for the increased torque feeling on the Touring vs .1RS

918 buckets seats are more comfortable than foldable carbon buckets seats ,
they are comfortable as the 4/18 ways seats eventhougj in and out from the car might be not so practical on the 918 seats

if getting a Manual transmision GT3 be more patient and follow the 1000 km max 4k rpm break in rule,
increasing gently rpm until 2000 km only when really warm,
i could feel how the car changed from rugged to a very smooth gear-clutch-engine combination (made the first 1000km on the autobahn at 100 mph, damn the break-in 4k rpm rule and michelin noisy tyres

Car overall is an epic and unique one

Glad to hear the 918 seats are more comfortable than the folding buckets. I have the folding buckets and find them extremely comfortable. Many say they are more comfortable than 918 i thought they were pretty much the same from my short rides in 918 buckets.

JWW just uploaded recently on his channel his new .2 GT3 and he said he went with folding buckets as more comfy than 918. Always good to hear different perspectives.

Can you share more pictures Not fair that you have a lovely gem and keep hiding it

I have to admit you have great taste even if we had some friendly banter on this forum before

Car is getting ppf
i will post some more pics afterwards

Btw to keep the .1GT3 vs .2GT3(t) personsl comparo going on

Steering
i prefer the .1 steering , more raw , closer to a race car. not that the .2 is lacking on precision but it feels a bit too refined

Electronics
on the .2 the ESP is way more efficient without compromising the car
rawness so here a point for the .2

more to come

Truly Lovely, Congrats!

Your spec is making me rethink the black wheels and black trim on my incoming Irish.
