Actually its coming after the very limited GT3 'RSR' that will be numbered of course - but that model won't be discussed until after the numbered Speedster's are released - and then, after both of those are allocated and into production the GT3 RS Exclusive Series should be announced, which is rumored we will see the true 'last, last' 991 production as the GT3 RS Exclusive Series. MY2021 supposedly, and will roll right into the 992.1 GT3 production, so no gaps in GT cars.

I sure as hell hope that this is just speculation...

But, if history serves us correctly, there was a 997.2 GT3 RS and then a 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0. So who knows what we'll see...

Would it be like the Turbo S Exclusive Series? If so the 4.2 RSR will be the car everyone is fighting over. A GT3 RS with spiffy paint and stitching is too heavy a juxtaposition, almost silly in fact. The 'RSR' however makes all the sense in the world! Take the track day concept as far as she'll go.

The current one is so exclusive that I won't get one - isn't that exclusive enough?

Yeah, any more exclusive and there’ll be riots. But a 500 units worldwide 4.2 liter 580hp RS would be nice...

Did Porsche do a send of 3RS for the 996 generation?

the 4.0 997 was quite rare indeed.

Where does all this 4.0+ fixation come from anyways? Have we not gone over this before, there is no 4.1/4.2 or anything in the commercialized engine lineup, whether in production or in motorsport. WAKE UP FELLAS.

This megabucks final creme de la creme RS will have water injected cooling like the 2RS. But instead of water, this one runs on tears. Tears of all of us who won't be able to land one...

no matter how good they are when you are sleeping with different supermodels everynight, all of them becomes the norm and none are special.
