I know this topic has been discussed in various forms, but want most up to date info, as about to finalize GT3 configuration.

I am told that PTS is not currently available for the GT3. Is this correct?

now that has turned into "doubtful it will open"

Too bad about not being able to get a PTS car. I got a very early Touring and was glad to get the allocation even though I was not able to get a PTS. The one thing I can't understand is why the price of
a .1 GT3 PTS in some cases is asking more than a .2 GT3 in a regular color. Give me the new engine and the choice of a manual over a PTS color anytime. I heard also that white is faster than any PTS color, I got chalk so that might be a bit slower.

This ^^^. Frankly, I don't think they even want to produce the ones they're committed to. Even with the price increase, all indicators are that it's just not worth it to them.

Why is PTS stopped? Doesn't Porsche want extra money for the paint?

even with the 12k paint job, I can't imagine Porsche making that much money from PTS--sounds like a lot of headache for them and dealing with whinny children (present company included lol)

Not really. As PTS leads to serious delays for production line. obviously they prefer to make more money for specific colors and fast production.
