Default BBI vs GRP vs GMG Exhaust Center

sorry if this has been covered in various threads. lots of advertising going on with comments in between, so im hoping to get one consolidated view/opinion from owners.

looking to order one of the exhaust center's from bbi, grp or gmg for an incoming 991.2 GT3. as i understand it, bbi and grp are identical. is that accurate?

any comparisons on the bbi/grp vs gmg solution. videos and personal testimonies/experiences/comments from anyone here who has installed either?

also, am i missing any similar solutions?

bbi: https://www.bbiautosport.com/product...t-center-h37bc

grp: https://www.grahamrahalperformance.c...bypass-exhaust

gmg: https://shop.gmgracing.com/collectio...center-section

thanks.

Here's a short sound clip of the GRP/BBI at idle. Wife took this w/ just iphone and format is bad but the sound of the GRP even at idle is way better than stock. I have found it to be an essential modification for my .2

GMG is most likely the quickest to get. GRP is identical to BBI except the letters etched on the top. They sound better than GMG, IMHO, but the difference is so trivial you won't know until you have them side by side. BBI etched letters look better on the top, IMHO, but they are the longest lead time. Sure seems like BBI favors making the GRP ones ahead of their own. I like BBI, they just take forever to deliver a product.

Is there any drone with these center deletes? That's my main concern.

Starting from Hondas years ago, then to BMW, then to Porsche, it seems that you really have to pay the "luxury tax". It is just some basic pipes for so much money. The same type of construction for a Honda would be $350. :P

That being said, BBi and GMG are very close to me so I'll likely be going to one of them (center delete and cage).

No drone if you keep everything else OEM. It's really amazing how perfect this little mod is for the car.

I agree. The GRP center unit enhances the sound quality in a perfect way. No drone just pure music.

What's the approx. weight loss by dropping in one these center sections. Can't be more that a few lbs?

Agreed. Really completes the GT3 IMHO. The sound is just pure music. Zero downside.

Ours drops 11 lbs. Nothing crazy, but every little bit helps.

BBI/GRP is the best bypass because the pipes connect and have a scavenging effect/better sound. RSS and CMS do this also but the BBI/GRP has better tips.

What about Sharkwerks? Anyone have any experience on their bypass? I like that it retains the tip attachments to use either OEM or other options (including turn-ups for sound issues).

GMG did it first, the others are just derivative.

I agree that the exhaust sound stock isa little underwhelming. I also agree that the bypasses all sound equally good based on reading about them. Except that they are, indeed, priced as "luxury" items. Quite expensive for just a simple set of pipes, so on principle I was not going to buy them. Soul Performance seems more reasonably priced, seems to sound just as good listening to the sound clip. Hmmmm....

The P51 was a derivative of the original Wright Flyer
