991.2 gt3rs commission number with mag wheels
Anyone have a commission number with weissach and magnesium wheels yet? I submitted my build and said please add magnesium wheels since not available on configurator. They said I can’t get a commission number yet because of this reason. But am supposedly still guaranteed a car. Delivery for magnesium wheels was stated as February 2019. Anyone get anything different from their dealer?

I heard that there was a stop-order on all 991.2 GT3 RS in the EU until September (or after the August summer break).
Anyone heard the same? or different?

Even if you have a commission number, you are not guaranteed an allocation. Commission numbers are also generated when the dealer inputs a v070 order demand, and, as discussed numerous times, v070 status does not get you any closer to a real allocation.
If you have a commission number coupled with a status of v100 or higher, then you know you have been assigned one of the dealer’s real, true allocations.
I have posted elsewhere what all the status codes stand for.
Circling back to the original question, it is currently impossible to order magnesium wheels on the GT3RS; in other words, there will be no commission numbers in any vXXX status with magnesium wheels currently on a build sheet.
Hope this helps to clarify.

According to Porsche, they are responsible for 80% of all magnesium supplies for wheels. Most cars are delivered without the magnesium wheels and shipped to the owner at a later date. Also the factory is so busy at the moment that they are running three shifts instead of the usual two.
