Is there an app to allow an Android (Samsung S6) to access the car's Apple CarPlay? Or patch Waze through to CarPlay?

I wouldn’t trust Google anymore than I would Facebook. It’s truly amazing how little people value their privacy. In fact, up until recently, Google was even reading your emails. I’ve turned off all Google services. Apple maps works just fine where I live. YMMV. DuckDuckGo is my default search engine and I’ve noticed zero change in the quality of search results.

Don’t forget, with Facebook and Google, YOU are the product.

I am probably in the minority, but the last thing i want to do when i get in my GT3 is mess around with phones or apps. In the 550i it’s a different story.

Yep, awesome news. I guess I'll have to use iPhone now. Also, this confirms that Apple was blocking third-party navigation rather than Google and others just not building it.

Yeah it is fantastic that we will be able to use WAZE now. Have to wait until September though after the Beta testing.

Really?! if that is not fake news then...LOL. those are audio prompts, not WAZE integrating with CrapPlay… Integration would be to see the Waze app displayed in your car.

He was commenting about an old recipe someone posted long time ago, and that one just provided voice. Starting this fall, it will be full support for Google Maps and Waze without any hacking

Got it. I remember that fake hack.

P.S. Here is the beta software. Another user who installed it says that Apple car play looks the same. No waze or google maps.
